The Grand Hotel Des Alpes began its work as far back as 1840 and became an important part of the history of the unique and amazing city of Chamonix.

The Grand Hotel Des Alpes participated in the first Winter Olympic Games in 1924, for which a beautiful tower overlooking the city’s rooftops was erected. Since then, the hotel has continued to welcome more and more people with their passion for the mountains.

The hotel is located in the heart of Chamonix, close to the lifts, L’Aiguille du Midi and Mer de Glace. Guests have a great opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of the city center, as well as to reach the charming surroundings in an instant. Renovated in 2019, the hotel has 30 double rooms with 1 bed or 2 single beds, including 3 suites, refined and cozy, with light and bright wood panels. The reception area has a living room with a balcony overlooking the river and Mont Blanc, a lounge area by the fireplace.

The wellness center overlooks the gardens and river, has an indoor wave pool and a large jacuzzi. The new conference hall overlooking the garden and the river will be an ideal place for organizing meetings and events.
