Velana International Airport, Male
Velaa Island can be reached by comfortable seaplane in 45 minutes, or by specially equipped Velaa private charter aircraft (9 seats) or by commercial seaplane (15 seats).
Upon arrival, all guests will be met by a welcoming Velaa at the airport and immediately escorted to a private waiting room with refreshments and a place to relax before transferring to the seaplane.
Mafaaru International Airport, Nunu Atoll
Private jets can land comfortably at Maafaru International Airport, just a 7-minute seaplane ride or a leisurely 35-minute luxury yacht ride from the hotel.

Velaa Golf Academy by Olazábal, designed by José María Olazábal, known for his mastery of the short game, is a unique golfing experience. The studio offers one-on-one lessons with PGA professionals using the latest swing analysis technology and is equipped with a Trackman simulator to improve your game.

An innovative concept of pure fun for children aged 4 to 12 years, Lha Velaa Kids Club boasts the largest children's water park in the Maldives, which was designed and based on the inspiration of the hotel owner's daughter. Velaa offers a range of exciting activities for young guests, from playing Maldivian baseball and Maldivian hopscotch (Koraa) to participating in a talent show or a pirate ship adventure, all in addition to extensive holiday programs for children of all ages.
